Adding/Removing users for your organisation
Last updated: October 8, 2026
As your team changes, you'll need to bring new colleagues onto AdvisoryAI or remove people who've moved on. Admins can handle both directly adding and removing new users on the platform.
Please Note: Only Admins can add or remove users and change roles by default. Each organisation is also limited to a small number of Admins - many have just one.
Adding Someone to Your Team
From your account, an Admin can invite a new team member and assign them a role — Adviser, Paraplanner, or Paraplanner+. They'll receive an invite to set up their login and get started.
Pricing depends on the specific license you add. Contact support@advisoryai.com, or your account manager, for specific details on pricing.
To add a new user, go to the Team page:
Click the cog icon in the bottom left of the platform
Select Tools and Settings
Select Team
Please Note: Admin and Supervisor licenses are free, so don't count toward your bill
Billing is worked out pro-rata. So say you add a new user with 15 days left in the month, you're only charged for those 15 days for that month. If you add a new user, that will reflect in your next billing invoice.
Removing Someone from Your Team
An Admin can remove a user from the platform as well. Before you do, it's worth reassigning their clients, reports, and documents to someone else on the team — this doesn't happen on its own, and for anyone with a busy caseload, there can be a fair amount to move across.
Removing a Adviser, Paraplanner or Support user reduces your bill from your next billing cycle. Removing an Admin or Supervisor doesn't change your bill either way, since those seats are free.
If you need to remove your organisation's only Admin — for example, because they're leaving the firm — you'll need to assign Admin to someone else first, since every organisation needs at least one.
If You'd Rather We Handle It
You're welcome to email support@advisoryai.com and we can add or remove users on your behalf. However, it is always quicker doing it yourself.
