Integrating your account to intelliflo

Last updated: October 12, 2026

This article explains what the Intelliflo integration does, how to connect your account, and what to do when the connection drops.

Once connected, client data moves in both directions. Pulling brings a client's Intelliflo record and documents into AdvisoryAI so Atlas, Evie and Emma can work from them. Pushing sends the facts captured in a meeting note or fact find back into that client's Intelliflo fact find, after you have reviewed them.

Before you begin

  • You need your own Intelliflo login. The connection is made on Intelliflo's sign-in page, and each adviser connects their own account; a colleague's connection does not cover you.
  • Your AdvisoryAI account must exist before the Intelliflo side can authorise the connection, so finish setting up your login first.
  • If your firm shares an Intelliflo licence, that shared login can be connected to pull clients through.

Connect your Intelliflo account

  1. Click Tools & Settings at the bottom of the sidebar.
  2. Select Integrations.
  3. Click Connect next to Intelliflo. This takes you to Intelliflo's own login page.
  4. Log in with your usual Intelliflo credentials and allow the permissions requested.
  5. Check the button next to Intelliflo now says Connected. You are ready to add clients.

What does the integration cover?

Fact-find fields, client documents, and a push back of hard facts after a meeting.

  • Pull. Add a client from Intelliflo and their personal details, employment and income, assets, expenditure, address, and health and vulnerability come across, around 80 to 90 fact-find fields in all. Documents stored on the client's Intelliflo record come across too, and Atlas can read them once pulled. Plan valuations held in Intelliflo can also be used in generated output.
  • Push. After a meeting note or fact find, the Update Intelliflo button opens a field-by-field review with proposed changes highlighted green against the existing value. Nothing is written until you confirm each section. See Creating a Report and Pushing Data to IO below.
  • Updates on your terms. Linking is per client, so sensitive clients can stay unlinked, and a prospect who never becomes a client is never added to Intelliflo unless you link them.

Please note: the integration does not cover free-text notes, objectives and plans, income reconciliation, opportunities, service cases or corporate clients. Generated documents cannot be saved into the Intelliflo document store; only fact-find fields go back. Trusts cannot be added from Intelliflo yet: the integration covers individual client records, so a trust does not appear when you search by name or reference. Set the trust up as a client in AdvisoryAI under the trust's name, so reports are addressed to the trust rather than the settlor, then download its documents from Intelliflo and drag and drop them into the report.

Does the integration cost extra?

No. It is included with your AdvisoryAI licence and your Intelliflo subscription, and there is no charge per connected client.

For anything else about your licence, ask your account manager. See Pricing and your licence: who to ask.

Does data from other tools that feed Intelliflo reach AdvisoryAI?

Yes, if it lands in a fact-find field the integration covers, or as a document on the client's Intelliflo record.

A risk profiling or cash flow tool that writes into the Intelliflo fact find updates AdvisoryAI the next time you refresh the client. A report it saves to the client's documents in Intelliflo comes across in the document pull, provided the file name includes its extension. Anything else can be uploaded to the client directly.

Does the report combine Intelliflo data with the meeting?

Yes. When you create a report, the transcript and the documents pulled from Intelliflo are listed as inputs, and selecting the fact find supplies the personal details.

After the meeting, click Create report and pick the outputs you want, such as a meeting note, an ad hoc note, a fact find or an email summary. The transcript and the documents pulled from Intelliflo are listed as inputs; select the fact find and the personal details come from it. The report arrives in about a minute.

No particular wording is needed in the meeting for a fact to be picked up. Evie listens for the information that maps to the fact-find fields.

Why does the connection keep dropping?

Intelliflo expires passwords monthly, and the connection breaks when it does. Reconnect and it comes back.

The first sign is usually the Update Intelliflo button disappearing from reports, or a notice at the top of the platform about your Intelliflo connection. Reconnecting takes a minute:

  1. Click Tools & Settings, then Integrations.
  2. Click reconnect on the Intelliflo card and log in with your Intelliflo username (your email) and current password.
  3. Reopen the report. The Update Intelliflo button returns once the connection is restored. Your synced clients are kept; only the link needed refreshing.

Please note: the platform may not always prompt you to reconnect when the connection has expired. If clients or documents stop updating from Intelliflo, reconnect first before anything else.

The login fails before I even reach two-factor authentication

If the same login also fails on Intelliflo's own website, the problem is on the Intelliflo side. Raise it with Intelliflo.

A login that works on Intelliflo directly but fails during the AdvisoryAI connection is different. Email support@advisoryai.com with the time it happened, the browser you used and a screenshot of the error, so the team can check whether anything was being deployed to the integration at that moment.

A colleague added clients from Intelliflo and I cannot see them

Clients pulled from Intelliflo belong to the user who imported them, and what a colleague can see is set by groups.

The import matches on the Intelliflo client ID within the importing user's own clients, so the same client imported by an adviser and a paraplanner becomes two records. Visibility between colleagues is set with groups; Control access with groups below explains how. If you still cannot see a colleague's clients, email support@advisoryai.com with both user names and an example client; the team checks the group settings on your account and either adds you to the right group or tells you what to change.

See it in action

You'll know it's worked when the button next to Intelliflo says Connected.

Also asked

If there is an action from my meeting, such as contact the client in two weeks, is a task created automatically in Intelliflo?

Not in Intelliflo. The integration writes fact-find fields only, so it does not create tasks, service cases or opportunities there. Actions from the meeting appear in the meeting note, and workflows in AdvisoryAI can run steps when a meeting finishes, such as generating an email summary or routing a generated fact find to a paraplanner. Email support@advisoryai.com with the action you want automated; the team confirms what workflows cover today and shows you how to set one up.

Could the business submission document AdvisoryAI creates be uploaded into Intelliflo to save the back office keying it in?

Not through the integration. Generated documents cannot be saved into the Intelliflo document store; only fact-find fields go back, through the Update Intelliflo review. The figures in the submission document reach Intelliflo when they are in the fact find and pushed from there. To file the document itself, save it to SharePoint or download it and upload it to the client's documents in Intelliflo.

Next steps

  • Add your clients: one at a time by name or reference, or everyone in daily batches. See Connect Intelliflo and sync your clients in batches below.
  • Pull the clients you are meeting each morning so calendar invites match on email and meetings land on the right record.
