Atlas Memory: Customising and Remembering Output
Last updated: July 28, 2026
How Atlas memory works
Atlas can remember preferences you give it — such as formatting or wording choices — so future documents it generates automatically follow the same style without you having to ask each time. When generating documents, Atlas can even change the colour of its output, ensuring its output matches the same style that your company follows.
Where to find it
Open Tools & Settings.
Select AI Settings.
Select Memory.
How to set a preference
There are two ways to save a preference to memory:
Option 1 — Tell Atlas directly in a chat After Atlas generates something, you can ask it to make a change — for example, changing a table to bullet points, making headings bold, or changing text colour. Once you confirm the change, Atlas remembers it and confirms this in the chat.
Option 2 — Add it on the Memory page You can also add a preference directly from the Memory page under AI Settings, without needing to set it through a chat first.
Either way, the preference will appear on the Memory page once saved.
Applying Memory going forward
Once a preference is saved to memory, Atlas applies it automatically to future documents it generates — you don't need to repeat the instruction each time.
For example, if you've saved a preference that titles should be centred, underlined, and a specific size, every new document Atlas produces will follow that formatting until you change the preference again.
Copying formatted output
When Atlas generates a document, you can copy it directly into another application, such as Word, and the formatting is retained. This will save youthful time to having to make these changes itself
