How to Provide Feedback on Your Report
Last updated: May 11, 2026
When we share a draft report with you for review, we want your feedback to be as clear and actionable as possible. Following a consistent format helps us turn your changes around quickly and accurately.
Where to Leave Feedback
Leave comments directly in Microsoft Word or Google Docs using the built-in comment feature. This keeps each comment tied to the surrounding text so we can see exactly what needs changing and why.
Please don't delete, strike through, or directly edit the body of the report — the original draft needs to be preserved so we can see what's changing.
What to Include in Each Comment
Each comment should cover three things:
Issue — what is wrong with the text as drafted (tone, formatting, content, or accuracy)
Requested Change — what you'd like to see instead. The more specific the better — suggested wording is always helpful
Priority — how important the change is to you
Priority levels:
🔴 High — must be fixed
🟡 Medium — should be fixed
🟢 Low — nice to have
Worked Example
Not sure what this looks like in practice? We've put together an annotated example report showing exactly the format we're looking for.
